Does my face data leave my Mac?

Never. Recognition runs fully on-device; no images or biometric data are uploaded. The file vault is encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

What if the camera can't recognize me?

There's always a password fallback, so you're never locked out of your own Mac.

  1. 1Download and open the Saglam ID .dmg.
  2. 2Drag Saglam ID into your Applications folder.
  3. 3Open it, allow camera access, and enroll your face — set a master password as backup.
  4. 4That’s it — every feature is unlocked, free. No license key, no account.

Signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a normal double-click — no right-click workaround, no security warning to click past.
