The real panel: it hangs from the notch and refreshes once a second while it's open.
/ What it does
- CPUProcessor load, live.
- GPUGraphics utilization percentage.
- RAMMemory pressure — percent plus used / total GB.
- DISKSystem volume usage — percent plus used space.
- TEMPCPU temperature in °C (switchable to °F).
- PWRSoC power draw in watts plus battery level.
/ Highlights
- Slides down the moment your cursor nears the notch, and gets out of the way the moment it leaves.
- The menu-bar gauge opens a control panel: pin the panel, launch at login, switch between °C and °F.
- Power-friendly by design — event-driven tracking, no busy-polling, and sampling backs off while the panel is hidden.
- Color thresholds (green → amber → red) flag a metric the instant it runs hot.
- Stays out of your Dock and floats above every Space and fullscreen window.
/ Install & run
- 1Download and open Statty-1.8.0.dmg.
- 2Drag Statty into your Applications folder.
- 3Launch it from Launchpad — a small gauge icon appears on the right of the menu bar.
- 4Move your cursor up to the notch and the live panel drops into view.
First launch: if macOS shows a security prompt, right-click the app in Applications and choose Open.
